Raised in an evangelical Protestant household, she described her conversion as a life-changing moment where she finally felt "home".
Her husband, former NFL quarterback Kyle Boller, was also reported to be preparing to enter the Church following her conversion
In May 2025, shortly after her conversion, she was appointed by President Donald Trump to the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty.
In March 2026, she received a "Catholic Champion Award" from the advocacy group Catholics for Catholics in recognition of her defense of the faith.
I spent a number of years near the Iran Border where President Trump has decimated the Iranian Terrorist Machine that have killed Americans in a 47 year span and threatens Israel and the world with the threat of nuclear weapons. I retired from the United States Army with nearly 27 years active service.
I support President Trump and our military in halting the 7th century mindset of the Terrorist Islamic that cry "death to America" death to Isreal. Carrie, I encourag you to make the Mass the center of your life and the Rosary your weapon to pray for America.

In March 2026, President Donald Trump declared that the U.S. and its allies had "decimated" the "evil empire" of
Iran through a series of overwhelming military strikes known as Operation Epic Fury.
Operational Goal: Launched on February 28, 2026, the operation aimed to eliminate Iran's nuclear threat, destroy its ballistic missile arsenal, and "annihilate" its naval and air forces.
Leadership Decimation: President Trump claimed the U.S. and Israel "wiped from the face of the earth" the top tiers of the Iranian leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Strategic Strikes: A major bombing raid on Kharg Island, described as Iran's "crown jewel," reportedly obliterated all military targets there on March 13.
While Trump has stated the U.S. is "winning the war by a lot" and that the regime is "totally defeated," he has stopped short of officially declaring the conflict over, describing it as an "excursion" that may continue for a short period.
Trump has consistently framed the conflict as a moral necessity to stop an "evil empire" from obtaining nuclear weapons, asserting that this goal is more important than rising oil prices or economic fluctuations. He characterized the campaign as a "great honor" to end a 47-year-long threat to the world.
Claims that Iran's military and nuclear infrastructure have been "practically destroyed" and that approximately 90% of its missile capacity has been leveled.
The administration describes the operation as having "significantly weakened" Iran's ability to project power in the Middle East.
