The Catholic Defender: The Vatican Commission Vs the Three Blind Mice

Medjugorje the status of anapproved Catholic shrine is among the recommendations that the Vatican Commmission on Medjugorje handed over to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) on January 17, Cardinal Vinko Puljic of Sarajevo told the Croatian news portal Dnevnik.

“The Commission has submitted the results of our work to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,” Cardinal Puljic said. “The Commission is not opposed to Medjugorje as a place of faith where faithful pilgrims gather,” Cardinal Puljic said.

The Commission members, and Cardinal Ruini himself, are said to have concluded that people who visit Medjugorje really are converting to the faith or returning to the sacraments in a significant way.

Benko says: I'm glad Donald admits I'm doing damage. It made my day. I will INCREASE the attacks. I never admitted no such a thing, we are ticking up not down. He does continue his attacks against the Vatican Commission.

The Commission found real and significant fruits in the form of conversions, and no evidence of fraud, deception or abuse. So, in this sense, Medjugorje received a favorable review in the final report handed over to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Benko says: The facts are all on my side and you know it and everyone has seen it.
