That is a beautiful and profound commitment. Walking with Him often means seeking peace, practicing compassion, and finding strength in faith every day.

Whether you are looking for scripture for reflection, prayers to start your morning, or ways to live out that mission in your community, I’m here to support you.

The Call to Discipleship: Jesus calls followers to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow him (Matthew 16:24).

The Promise of Light: Jesus promises that those who follow him will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life (John 8:12).

Recognizing His Voice: Followers are identified by hearing his voice and following him (John 10:27).

Walking in His Steps: Believers are called to walk in Christ's steps, suffering for his sake as an example (1 Peter 2:21).

Wholehearted Commitment: Following Jesus requires undivided devotion, without looking back (Luke 9:62).

Self-Denial: It requires setting aside one's own ambitions, pride, and independence to align completely with God's will.

Willingness to Suffer: It signifies a readiness to face humiliation, persecution, or even death for the sake of following Christ.

Daily Devotion: The addition of the word "daily" in Luke's Gospel emphasizes that this isn't a one-time heroic act, but a continuous choice to put God and others before oneself.

Identifying with Christ: Just as Jesus bore a physical cross to save others, disciples are called to bear their own "crosses"—which can manifest as sacrificial service, staying faithful in difficult trials, or overcoming personal sins.
