The Catholic Defender begins the Nationa Celebration Of President Trump's 250 years honoring Americ's Freedom Traveling down Main Street In Gardner Kansas with the Trump Flag focusing on this honor that is connected to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
A traveling festival featuring exhibits from all 50 states that will eventually take over the National Mall from June 25 to July 10, 2026.
Freedom 250 Grand Prix: The first-ever INDYCAR street race in Washington, D.C., scheduled for August 2026.
Local Masses: Many dioceses and parishes, such as the Diocese of Memphis and the Diocese of Knoxville, will hold their own special Masses on the evening of June 11
Novena: A nine-day prayer leading up to the consecration (starting June 3).

The U.S. Catholic bishops will formally consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
The bishops will concelebrate Mass and lead the act of consecration together.
According to Archbishop Alexander Sample, it is a way to recognize the kingship of Christ and entrust the nation to His mercy and moral guidance.
While the formal act is on June 11, it precedes the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, which falls on June 12 in 2026.

The USCCB has invited all parishes and individual Catholics to join the initiative through
250 Hours of Adoration: National prayer for unity, healing, and peace.
250 Works of Mercy: Acts of charity to foster justice and love in the community.

National Jubilee of Prayer: A massive prayer gathering held on May 17, 2026, on the National Mall to "rededicate America as one nation under God".
America Prays: A program encouraging citizens to dedicate one hour per week to group prayer for the nation.
Warrior Dividend: A one-time tax-free bonus of $1,776 issued to approximately 1.5 million military service members in late 2025 to honor the founding year.
UFC at the White House: A "once-in-a-lifetime" professional sporting event scheduled for June 14, 2026 (Flag Day) on the South Lawn.

The effort is led by Task Force 250, established by executive order, and Freedom 250, a public-private partnership managed by CEO Keith Krach. These groups work alongside the bipartisan America250 Commission to coordinate festivities nationwide.
