The Catholic Defender: Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes

O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Health of the Sick, Refuge of Sinners, Comforter of the Afflicted, you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings; deign to cast upon me a look of mercy.

By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you made it a privileged sanctuary whence you dispense your favors, and already many have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. I come, therefore, with the most unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession.

Through gratitude for your favors, I will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that I may one day share your glory. Amen.

O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy, you are the refuge of sinners and the comfort of the afflicted. Look with mercy on us. By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes you gave the world hope. Your Son has healed many,

thanks to your compassionate intercession. Therefore, we come humbly before you to ask for your motherly intercession for all who are sick in body, mind and spirit. Holy Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of death. Amen.

Our Lady of Lourdes, heal us for the greater glory of God. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

Saint Bernadette, pray for us.
