The Catholic Defender: I am not ashamed to speak the Name of Jesus and His One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church

St. Paul declares that he is not ashamed of the gospel, meaning he is not embarrassed or afraid to proclaim it. He understands it as a powerful message from God. Power of God: The gospel is presented as God's power for salvation, capable of transforming lives.

At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow in heaven and on earth. This name has authority. All who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. Demons are subject to his name.

It's not just a spiritual catchphrase or something to say when life gets hard. The name of Jesus carries the full authority of heaven; power to heal, restore, and shift the atmosphere of your life. When you speak His name in faith, you're calling on the presence of the living God.

He is afraid to be reminded of the fact that Jesus is Lord. Demon-possessed people will not confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, neither will they confess that Satan was defeated on the cross. There is power in the Name of Jesus Christ to cast out any demon and to make any devil flee from you - at the speed of lightning.

That is a powerful and clear statement of faith. It reflects a deep commitment to the Nicene Creed and the historical traditions of the Catholic Church.

Catholic apologetics is the branch of theology dedicated to explaining and defending the teachings, beliefs, and practices of the Catholic Church. Derived from the Greek word apologia (meaning a formal defense), its goal is not just to win arguments but to lead others to Christ by resolving misunderstandings and removing intellectual barriers to faith.

The Divinity of Christ: Using Scripture and historical evidence to support the claim that Jesus is God.

The Resurrection: Defending the historical reliability of the empty tomb and Jesus' post-crucifixion appearances.

The Papacy: Asserting that Jesus established the office of the Pope through St. Peter to provide a visible, authoritative head for the Church.

The Real Presence: Defending the belief that the bread and wine at Mass literally become the Body and Blood of Christ (Transubstantiation).

Mary and the Saints: Explaining that Catholics venerate (honor) rather than worship Mary and the saints, and seek their intercession.
