The Catholic Defender: Socialism and Democrats threatens America.

The Democrats will never stop trying to destroy President Trump...

Think about what they support: abortion, euthanasia, socialism, open borders, sanctuary cities, gay "marriage", gun control...the key word of their platform, even if not spoken aloud, is CONTROL...control of every aspect of our lives...

They want to turn this country into a nation-wide sanctuary state, dominated by a socialistic, communistic central government, which would greatly limit our freedoms and rights which are guaranteed to us by the US Constitution...they want us completely dependent upon them for all those so-called "freebies", for which we, then, are supposed to be servile and grateful...of course, we will lose our right to worship as we choose, our right to select our own doctors...everyone will have to toe the line, except them, of course...

Prepare to give up your guns...the "right" to an abortion could well become the obligation to have one {think of China)...

They want us vulnerable to anyone who may pose a threat to this nation, while they live safe behind their walls, which are protected by armed guards...

Traditional marriage, one man and one woman, will be mocked as out of date and homophobic...

Those of us who support our traditional Judeo-Christian culture will be vilified...

If you think this is all nonsense, study the history of any country that suffered, and is suffering, beneath the yoke of communism...

Do not let them destroy President Trump, for by so doing, they will destroy us...

A few words on socialism: Someone has to work to PAY for all the free things they want to give out. BUT no one will have any reason to work: after all, you get everything for free.

OK so everyone gets the same under socialism. That is the theory. But it is not true. The socialist leaders are the new "rich" class. They get all the luxury items, weather they work for them or not.

Socialism has NEVER worked. Russia was the first. They could not even feed themselves at a subsistence level. They had to import grain from the rest of the world (the US) just to avoid starvation. This was not for a year or two, but for DECADES. Decades of collective, state run farms produced starvation.

Under socialism there is no incentive for innovation. Why work hard to invent something new or to do something more efficiently? You will still get the same reward as when you just sat back and let others do it.

And even if they do reward you, they will just take it back in "your fair share" of the taxes. After all, why should you have more than everyone else when they can just take it from your after you worked hard for it?

Under socialism the government will run businesses and things like medical care. Totally uncaring government workers who have absolutely no goals in life other then quitting time will be in charge of your medical care. And they will be in charge of things like auto design and production. And how much energy you can use in your home - get ready to freeze in the winter and sweat in the summer.

What about countries like Sweden? Aren't they an example of socialism that works? Well, NO! Sweden is one of the most capitalistic countries on the planet. That is why they can have a bit of socialism without the poverty that it always brings. And look at countries like North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam and the rest. Anyone want to live there? What about China? Well, China went through decades of suffering until they finally realized that socialism really does not work. They may say they are a socialist country, but China only works because they have allowed capitalism to intrude on that socialist dream.

And socialism has probably produced more suffering and deaths than any other system ever in the history of the world. Russia alone has executed at least as many people in the name of socialism as Nazi Germany did. Oh, and speaking about Nazi Germany, Hitler's party was the National SOCIALISTS.

I really fear for the future of out country with all the present leanings toward this thing called socialism. It can not work. There is no reason why it would work. It is totally flawed from the start. And once it gets embedded in our life, we will need another revolutionary war to rid ourselves of it.
