The Catholic Defender: Virgin Mary calls for Converson through the RCIA

Virgin Mary calls for Converson through the RCIA.

I accept you as my Lord, God and Savior.

Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul, and spirit.

Come Lord Jesus, cover me with your Precious Blood, and fill me with your Holy Spirit.

Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

O Jesus, it is for the love of Thee, in reparation for the offences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners.

O Holy Mother, I join you at the foot of your Son's Cross to implore mercy and conversion for the souls of the world.

With you I offer the wounds of your Son Jesus to the Father in atonement for the sins of the world, past, present and to come.

In the Hail Mary prayer, when we say, “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death,” we are asking Mary to intercede for us not just throughout our lives but also at the time of our death.

The most effective prayer, the one that is always answered, is this: "It is best for You, and therefore best for me and any others who may be affected by this prayer."

O glorious Mother of God, so powerful under your special title of Our Lady of Lourdes, to you we raise our hearts and hands to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the gracious heart of Jesus all the helps and graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare and for the special favor Praying the Rosary allows us to encounter Mary and to enter the mysteries of Jesus Christ.

From his Incarnation, to the Cross, to the Resurrection, we come to understand that God has revealed himself and saved us.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary, continue to inspire us to a life of discipleship.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a profound process of conversion, guiding individuals toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, often echoing the Virgin Mary's call to "do whatever he tells you". Through this journey, participants explore Catholic teachings on Mary's role in salvation history as the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, and her guidance toward her Son.

Mary’s role as the "New Eve," her total faith, and her function as a spiritual mother leading believers to Jesus.

Catholics seek Mary's intercession, not worship, which is reserved for God alone. So Mary holds a place of honor, not divinity. Mary is significant to Catholics because she played a key role in Salvation History by bringing Jesus into the world. Today, she continues to connect us to God's grace through her prayers.

The Virgin Mary’s calls for conversion, most notably at Fatima (1917), Lourdes, and Akita, urge humanity to repent, stop offending God, and turn back to Him through prayer—specifically the Rosary—and penance. These urgent, loving messages warn of divine judgment due to sin while offering grace, protection, and a path to peace.

Mary often appears as a concerned mother warning that humanity must amend its lives to avoid great sufferings and, in some accounts, to prevent the loss of souls.
