The Deepertruth radio ministry, hosted by Don Hartley and the Deepertruth family as they, feature the "Stand in the Gap With Us and the Welcomed Saints" segments to honor and explore the lives of Catholic saints. The daily programs that intercede in prayer while highlighting how the saints act as spiritual defenders for believers.

The broadcasts utilize the biblical concept of "standing in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30), focusing on:

"Thus I have searched among them for someone who would build a wall or stand in the breach before me to keep me from destroying the land; but I found no one." Ezekiel 22:30

The Welcomed Saints: In-depth studies of holy men and women (such as St. Catherine of Genoa, St. William of York) and their spiritual journeys. and many more according to the Church Calender.

Spiritual Intercession: Using prayer to advocate for truth, defend the vulnerable, and strengthen the body of Christ.

Spiritual intercession in the Bible is the act of praying or advocating to God on behalf of others. It bridges the gap between humanity and the divine. The Scriptures present both human believers acting as intercessors and the Holy Spirit and Jesus acting as divine intercessors

The Holy Spirit: When believers do not know how or what to pray, the Spirit helps in their weakness. According to Romans 8:26, the Spirit intercedes for the saints through "groanings too deep for words."

Faith Connection: Providing resources designed to help Christians think biblically and act righteously in the modern world.

Jesus Christ as the Ultimate Intercessor: The New Testament identifies Jesus as the supreme mediator and intercessor for humanity. Hebrews 7:25 highlights that he lives forever to intercede for those who draw near to God.

Moses: Often viewed as the greatest intercessor in the Old Testament, Moses frequently "stood in the gap" before God to plead for the Israelites when they sinned—most notably after the golden calf incident. Because of his pleading, God relented and spared the people.

The Apostle Paul: Paul continuously urged Christians to make supplications, prayers, and intercessions for all people. He modeled this by consistently writing prayers of intercession for the early churches in his letters.

In the New Testament, intercession is not limited to specific spiritual leaders; it is presented as a foundational responsibility for all Christians. Believers are called to "stand in the gap" for others, lifting up the struggles, needs, and burdens of the world to God out of a priority of love and faith.
