The Catholic Defender: President Trumps Easter Message

This Easter Sunday, the First Lady and I join with Christians all across our Nation and around the world in rejoicing in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, whose triumph over sin and victory over death secured the promise of redemption and the hope of eternal life for all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.

Sunday, we proclaim with joy that Christ has risen, a new creation has been ushered in, and evil and death have been conquered forever through the unmatched power of God’s sacrificial love.

When Jesus Christ rose from His earthly tomb on Easter morning, He restored our grace, washed our sins, and reconciled humanity with God—fulfilling the ancient prophecy that “He was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity … by His wounds we were healed.”  His suffering won our victory, His love brings us life, and His Resurrection is our everlasting hope.

As we rejoice in this Easter season, we are reminded that the life of Jesus Christ and the truths of the Gospel have inspired our way of life and our national identity for 250 years.  From the Christian patriots who won and secured our liberty on the battlefield and every generation since, the love of Christ has unfailingly guided our Nation through calm waters and dark storms.

We pray that this celebration of the Resurrection strengthens our faith, enriches our lives, and reawakens our souls.  We offer prayers of adoration and thanksgiving for the countless blessings God has bestowed upon our Nation.  We acknowledge that, through Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, in the words of Holy Scripture, “Death is swallowed up in victory.”  Above all, we echo with tremendous joy those sacred words that have given life, hope, and purpose to Christians for thousands of years:  He is risen.

Happy Easter!

For Easter 2026, President Donald Trump released two markedly different communications: a traditional video message focused on a "resurrection of faith" in America and a profane series of social media posts threatening military action against Iran.

Released on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, via Truth Social and the White House website, this address focused on religious revival and traditional Christian values.

Theme of Revival: Trump declared an "extraordinary resurrection of faith" in the U.S., claiming that religion is growing for the first time in decades.

He stated, "To be a great nation, you must have religion, and you must have God".

The president quoted John 3:16 and described the Resurrection as "the most glorious miracle in all of time".

A written statement co-signed by First Lady Melania Trump linked the Gospel to 250 years of American national identity and liberty.

In sharp contrast to his religious address, President Trump posted a series of aggressive messages on Easter Sunday morning, April 5, 2026, regarding the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

The Ultimatum: He demanded that Iran "Open the F*****' Strait... or you'll be living in Hell," giving them a deadline of 8:00 PM ET on Tuesday, April 7. ( of course, John Benko, Messala) spells it out on his T4P Network not respecting any potential children that might stumble on his filthy language, which is his speech.

The message was an ultimatum directed at Iran regarding the blocked Strait of Hormuz. Trump wrote

Targeting Infrastructure: He warned that Tuesday would be "Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day" in Iran if the strategic shipping lane remained closed.

Controversial Sign-off: Trump ended the profane threat with the phrase "Praise be to Allah," which drew significant criticism and confusion from both supporters and opponents.

Analysts and critics described the use of "Praise be to Allah" as mocking or sardonic. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) condemned the remark as a "deranged mocking of Islam" and a dangerous weaponization of religious language.

Laura Loomer, praised the "fiery" rhetoric as a show of strength.

John Benko and his T4P Clan joins Marjorie Taylor Greene to attack President Trump and America. They use this Easter message to misrepresent it's fullness, to decieve people to gain opposition hoping people will not support Trump and pray for a Pilot lost in Iran and Benko states this on his demonic network. as an opportunity to attack me, " a 20 minute video traitor anti-christ Hartley doesn't have the courage to watch or the intellect to counter"

I spent years near the Iran border and in the course of battle have had brave American Soldiers die in my hands as we worked to save them, we did save many, unfortunately, some of the injuries were to catastrophic on the battle field. John Benko is much in line with Messala who is portrayed as ambitious and ruthless, a symbol of the corruption. John Benko himself is the traitor who betrays Our Lord by being the Anti-Christ that he is. The language that Benko has used attacking myself and my family makes anything President Trump has said as tame.
