July 4, 2026, marks the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This historic milestone is being commemorated through a nationwide multi-year initiative known as America250 and the Freedom 250 program, celebrating two and a half centuries of independence and liberty.
The "Salute to America 250" Task Force: Led by the federal government, this task force is executing a year of festivities starting on Memorial Day 2025 and continuing through the end of 2026.
National Parks: The National Park Service is hosting events at sacred historical sites, including Independence Hall in Philadelphia and Revolutionary War battlefields.

Washington, D.C.: The nation's capital will feature major celebrations at iconic landmarks like the White House and the Library of Congress.
Philadelphia, PA: As the site of the original 1776 signing, the city is a central hub for reflections on the evolution of American freedom.
Right here in Gardner Kansas on main street, I have helped begin this celebration as I am seeing much enthusiasm from trains, truckers, cars that consistantly pass by taking pictures, offering water, honking the horn and the thumbs up. Trump, America, is alive and well.
