Sometimes I come across an old review that describes a serious problem, but there is no way to tell whether the same issue still exists today. I don't want to ignore useful information, although I also don't think it makes sense to judge a company entirely by something that happened years ago. How do you decide whether older feedback is still relevant? Would you look for more recent comments about the same issue before drawing a conclusion?

When researching an unfamiliar website, I think the most useful reviews are the ones that explain the reasons behind an opinion. A rating on its own does not tell you much about the situation, while a detailed comment can provide context and help you understand what another person is discussing. I would also compare feedback from different sources rather than relying on a single page. For example, can be checked as part of a broader search for publicly available information. It is worth considering when the comments were published and whether they contain specific details. This makes it easier to distinguish useful observations from general statements and form an independent opinion based on more than one source.
