The Catholic Defender: As A Former Fetus Myself, I personally Oppose Abortion

Recently, the United States Catholics Bishops Conference came out with a document that intends to respond to the threat of the Democrat Pro-Abortion politicians. Faithful Catholics want the Shepherds of the Church to stand up for the life of the unborn child. The Church already teach that a sinner in Mortal Sin is not to receive the Eucharist.

Such a person places themselves in Mortal danger for receiving the Eucharist which also speaks to their denial of the reality of Jesus presence in the Consecrated Host.

Biden continues to seek taking out the Hyde Amendment which tells you that Abortion is not simply a "private matter" to him claiming Abortion to be "personal". Yet he pushes his "private matter" on all people. He has avowed to undo the Hyde Amendment that protects Pro-Life Medical Professionals from being forced to participate in Abortions and utilize everyone's tax dollars to fund Abortion. A Catholic is deadly wrong when they choose to be a "Cafeteria" Catholic, especially where Mortal Sin is involved.

The Hyde Amendment named for former Representative Henry Hyde, Republican of Illinois (1976) sought to defend life from the moment of conception. The purpose:

 "In U.S. politics, the Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape."

The Socialist Democrat Party since 1973, are responsible for 60,000,000 unborn children being a throw away society. The Hyde Amendment saved millions that would have been added to the whole number, which is a component Joe Biden pledges to change. Biden supports the killing of these unborn children, he would call it a

 "woman's right to choose".

Through the Hyde Amendment, Medicaid does not pay for the vast amount for abortions, it bans the federal funding of abortion. That's why Joe Biden want's to change the Amendment, so they can pay for abortions forcing Catholics and others who believe in the Pro-Life position.

Opposition to the amendment comes from the very beginning, Today, there is a bill to repeal it, known as the "EACH Woman Act," Currently, there are 22 cosponsors in the Senate and 130 in the House,

Senators Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, and Representatives Seth Moulton and Eric Swalwell are among the few.

Like myself who argue that the Hyde Amendment protects the conscience not only of the taxpayer, but also the medical professionals who do not want to kill the unborn child. We believe in the right to life. We believe in religious liberty and conscience. This would also affect overall health care as Catholic Hospitals and other denominations could close down their institutions because they would not abort children.

Abortion is not an illness or disease

According to Michael New, an American political scientist and an associate professor at the Catholic University of America, estimated that the Hyde Amendment saved more than 2.4 million unborn children. As a scholar of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, Michael New is part of that education and research arm of the pro-life organization Susan B Anthony List.

1. The Hyde Amendment prohibits federal Medicaid dollars from paying for abortion.

2. The Hyde Amendment was first enacted by Congress in 1976 and has been passed each year since then with bipartisan support.

3. Most Americans oppose their tax dollars paying for abortion.

4. Publicly funded abortions were happening in the 1970s at a high rate. Since the passage of the Hyde Amendment, the abortion rate has dropped significantly.

5. Since its enactment, an estimated 2.13 million lives have been saved due to the Hyde Amendment.

Joe Biden claims to be a Catholic who will strike down the Hyde Amendment. The Catholic Faith teaches that life begins at conception.
