The Catholic Defender: A Brief Meeting At A CVS Drug Store

I was on my way home from our local grocery store when I received a call from my wife Gigi that she wanted me to pick up some mustard. I told her that I will stop at the CVS Drug Store that is walking distance from the house. So, I stopped in the CVS parking lot to get the mustard.

While waiting in a line of two to pay for the mustard, I mentioned how bad it is getting because of Biden and the Socialist Democrats causing prices to surge upwards. That's when this lady reached out to me identifying me as "one of those crazy ones", which I quickly took that as a compliment. I responded, "most certainly, I am a supporter of President Trump"

Here are some reasons why I prefer to be crazy supporting President Trump over Biden and the Socialist Democrats:

I prefer being energy independent as opposed to being dependent on OPEC causing the rising of prices in our economy.

I prefer having a secure Southern Boarder with Mexico stopping drugs, human trafficking, illegal Aliens, terrorists, having an open boarder.

I prefer having a top military defense, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, the Reserves, having leadership we can trust, not what Biden has done especially in Afghanistan.

I prefer having our Allies having faith in our leadership, not the chaos Biden has done in 8 months tearing our country down.

I prefer having America respected around the world and not laughed at like they do now because of Biden.

I prefer teaching our young people to have love and pride for our American flag instead of what the far left is doing attacking Capitalism and freedom as opposed to Socialism, Marxism, and Communism.

I prefer having the freedom of Religion and not being forced to accept the indoctrination of the radical far left agenda.

I prefer having a Pro-life foundation defending the right to life, not the pro-Abortion and pro-death squads of the far left.

I prefer standing up for traditional family values and keeping a Biblical understanding of family, not that of the far left.

By this time the lady was so distraught that she took off, boy, I sure had a whole lotta more, this is a short ditty that if we stand up against those who would see our nation to crumble, we need to stand up. America First has to be our motto.

God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation´s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will. Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Patroness of our land, grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death." Lead us into a new millennium of life. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
