The Catholic Defender: Power is a faithful person, who can make a difference to be a world class person to encourge others with faith

True power comes from consistent, daily faithfulness, which allows a person to build the spiritual discipline required to make a world of difference and encourage others. Transforming from an ordinary believer into a world-class encourager doesn't require instant fame or massive recognition. Instead, it relies on proven character, steady action, and an unwavering commitment to lift others up through faith.

To become a world-class impact maker who encourages others through faith, it is essential to understand that true power does not come from status, but from consistent, faithful action. When you anchor your life in faith, your personal example creates a ripple effect that inspires everyone around you.

Here is how a faithful person leverages their true power to make a world-class difference:

1. The Power of "Radical Ordinariness"

You don't need a global stage to make a world-class impact. True faithfulness is built on consistency over feelings.

Show up: Consistent presence builds trust and sets a living template for others.

Lead by example: When you steadily pursue what is good, others watch your pattern and begin to take those steps too.

Be the exception: Scripture notes that while many claim to be good, finding a truly dependable, faithful person is rare. Standing out as someone completely trustworthy makes you a beacon of light.

2. Infusing Others with Courage

The word "encouragement" literally means to infuse someone with courage. The life of faith is not meant to be walked alone.

Be an intentional builder: Active encouragement spurs others toward love and good deeds.

Multiply faith: An encouragement shared with one person often ripples out to lift the spirits of many.

3. Activating Spiritual Power

A world-class encourager relies on spiritual strength rather than human effort alone.

Fervent Prayer: Spiritual power is unlocked through earnest, heartfelt prayer. The prayers of a faithful, righteous person have great efficacy and accomplish much.

Unyielding Belief: True faith has the power to move figurative mountains and clear impossible hurdles.

By staying consistent, choosing faith over temporary feelings, and actively seeking to lift others up, you naturally become a world-class leader whose legacy transforms communities.

Attributes of a Faithful Leader

Actions Over Words: While many people verbally advertise their loyalty, a truly faithful person proves their character through steady, sacrificial obedience and dependable presence.

Driven by Faith, Not Feelings: World-class encouragers understand that emotions are unreliable. They remain consistent in habits like prayer, worship, and service, regardless of how they feel.

Infusing Others with Courage: To "encourage" literally means to infuse someone with courage. A faithful leader looks for those who are struggling and proactively supplies the strength they need to keep moving forward.

The Impact: Proving vs. Proclaiming Faith

The Bible contrasts those who simply talk about their goodness with those whose actions carry genuine, life-changing power.

The faithful leader

Consistent, quiet execution of duties.

Governed by discipline and faith.

Long-lasting transformation that shapes communities.

Abounds with blessings and builds relationships.

The Proclaimer

Making empty verbal promises

Guided by shifting feelings and moods.

Temporary, surface level influence

Described as rare and hard to find.
