The Catholic Defender: Dining Hall Talks with Fr. Blount in Medjugorje

Dining Hall Talks with Fr. Blount in Medjugorje

Friends, we were made for greatness.

"The world offers you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness." –Pope Benedict XVI

We are equipped by our baptisms and confirmations to proclaim the Gospel and bring the Glorious Reign of Christ the King to earth. So that He truly reigns in ALL hearts. So that every single person on earth will become a baptized Catholic, just as Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta was told will happen (and her writings have been fully approved by the Church)!

But the devil is scared of us. He doesn't want us to know how powerful we are, and he doesn't want us to use our power to help God usher in the promised Era of Peace. He is using every trick in the book to tear us down and keep us there.

So if there is any miracle you need in your life... if there is anything holding you back (or holding your loved ones back) from being the "Joan of Arc" or "John the Baptist" that God is calling you to be... then receive the blessings that Father Jim gives you through these videos, do exactly as Father says, and see how God starts to work greater and greater miracles in your life!

On June 25, 1981, in the small village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Blessed Virgin Mary began appearing to six young teenagers on Mount Podbrdo, now known as Apparition Hill. Since that time, Our Lady has continued to appear and give messages of hope and a call for conversion in order to bring peace to the world. In response, over 40 million people have journeyed to Medjugorje to experience what many refer to as “Heaven on Earth”. Medjugorje is also known as the “confessional of the world” and has been the site of countless conversions and life-changing experiences.

Medjugorje was the original inspiration for the foundation of 206 Tours, after our president and founder went there on a life-changing pilgrimage. The first group of 206 Tours pilgrims visited in 1985 and we have been sending more groups ever since.

In 2018, Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Henryk Hoser as the “Apostolic Visitor” to Medjugorje who was then succeeded by Archbishop Aldo Cavalli. On May 13, 2019, the Holy See officially announced that Dioceses and Parishes throughout the world are now authorized to organize pilgrimages to Medjugorje.

Climb Apparition Hill:This mountainous hill is the site where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. At the base of the hill is a Blue Cross where Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the apparitions. Mirjana, one of the visionaries, also had public apparitions at this cross on the second day of every month. While climbing to the top of Apparition Hill, pilgrims are invited to recite the Rosary, pausing five times to pray each decade of the Rosary in front of huge bronze reliefs depicting each mystery. At the top of the hill, there is a beautiful statue of Our Lady in the exact location of her first apparition. Enjoy private time for prayer in this holy place.

Climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain):In 1933, the villagers of Medjugorje began construction on a 30-foot-high cross atop the mountain to commemorate the 1900th Anniversary of Jesus' passion and death. The parishioners meditated on the Way of the Cross as they carried the heavy materials for construction up the mountain. A relic of the True Cross of Jesus received from Rome, was built into this cross. It remains a central point of one’s pilgrimage to Medjugorje. As pilgrims climb the mountain, they pray at the Stations of the Cross to meditate on Jesus' suffering, pausing fourteen times for each station at the huge bronze reliefs. You will then have private time for prayer at the top of the mountain in front of the cross.

Apparitions: Each evening at 5:00 PM (or 6:00 PM depending on Daylight Savings Time), your group can join the villagers and fellow pilgrims of Medjugorje at either St James Church or Apparition Hill to commemorate the time Our Lady appears to the Visionaries. There you can pray the Rosary, as you all await that time (5:40 PM or 6:40 PM during Daylight Savings Time).

*Afterward, Croatian Mass is held at St. James Church and is free to all to attend. It is broadcasted by the radio, simultaneously in order to translate the services from Croatian into many languages. Following the Croatian Mass, there is a Blessing of the Sick.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: The messages of Our Lady have always called us to be close to her Son. In response to her call, pilgrims will have the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament at the altar outside of St. James Church. Adoration is on Tuesdays and Saturdays; Veneration of the Cross is on Fridays. Additionally, there is an Adoration Chapel on the grounds of St. James Church, where Adoration is held in the afternoon hours. Eucharistic Adoration is one of the most memorable experiences in Medjugorje. During the service, the outside altar is surrounded by several thousand pilgrims and locals, as everyone rests in deep prayer and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

All who are under curses and constantly say this prayer shall be free from their curses. Any family that is suffering from the curse of sins committed by their forefathers, who makes a 144 day novena through this prayer, will be freed. All who break a covenant and are supposed to die shall be saved and also be released from their curse if they constantly say this prayer and repent.*

Eternal Father, You are the Only Immortal God, God Who is Love, merciful and kind. Look at Your only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and have mercy. I offer You the pains of His scourging at the pillar, His Wounds and Blood for all Your people who are living under the weight of the curse due to the sins of their ancestors and their disobedience for breaking the covenant they made with You.

May You set us free through the scourging of Your Son, heal us through His Wounds and save us through His Precious Blood. Amen.

Precious Blood of Jesus Christ — release us from curses. Holy Wounds of Jesus Christ — heal our wounds. By Your scourging — seal us. Amen.

*This prayer for setting your family free from ancestral curses was revealed to Barnabas Nwoye by Our Lord. His book of messages was approved by Rev. Stephen Obikuwu in July 1999 and has received an official Nihil Obstat. The official book of prayers dictated to Barnabas by Jesus received an Imprimatur from the Rev. Dr. Ayo Maria Atoyebi, Bishop of Illorin, on June 17, 2001.

Father is on a mission to convert the world, and we have this wonderful opportunity to pray together with him for the grace of the Warning and to hasten the coming Era of Peace.
