The Catholic Defender: The Father Richard Frank Story

"Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophetic utterance when the council of elders laid their hands upon you."

St. Paul's words to St. Timothy echos down the ages speaking to every ordained Catholic clergy beginning with the apostolic age. Jesus called his Apostles who in turn ordained successors as the Church spread. St. Paul wrote, "You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

Tonight on Deepertruth, Father Richard Frank will appear to give his story.

Father states, "I was ordained at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, my home parish, on May 13, 1972 (Our Lady of Fatima) by Bishop Michael McAuliffe. So, I have been a priest for 46 years. I retired from parochial administration on July 1, 2017. I have been available for weekend subbing since then and have been asked several times. I also have more time to do volunteer work as at the Samaritan Center and opposing Planned Parenthood. I also take time to indulge my hobbies of study of Civil War, bicycling, and movies."

I have been available for weekend subbing since then and have been asked several times. I also have more time to do volunteer work as at the Samaritan Center and opposing Planned Parenthood.

I also take time to indulge my hobbies of study of Civil War, bicycling, and movies. I have been stationed in a number of parishes in the following places: Hannibal, St. Joseph Cathedral, St. Peter-Jefferson City, Marceline, Pilot Grove, St. Martins, Freeburg, St. Clement, Canton, Glasgow, Brunswick.

I have been considered a "difficult priest" by some authorities in the past for my outspoken opposition to the corruption of Catholic Relief Services and Rice Bowl, Campaign for Human Development, and the now defunct transgender policy that the Diocesan School Office tried to force on parishes.

Father Frank encourages Priests to “Stay faithful to your prayers and trust in God …”

“Try to get parishioners involved on a volunteer basis in some of the nitty-gritty administrative stuff …”

“And get a good cook or learn how to cook,” Father certainly understands that good music and good food will always draw a crowd.

Father Frank considers the Church vocation a mysterious thing, St. Paul wrote that he was made an Apostle for our benefit, that is true with all Catholic ordained.

Listen to tonight's show as Father will share his love for Christ and the Ministry given to him for the sake of the Elect.
