The Catholic Defender: Eucharistic Adoration, Here Is A Great Meditation
I was preparing to send out my article on celibacy and wanted to find something that honors the priesthood and the Catholic position on You-tube.
I stumbled on a flash mop scene (which I tend to love these Christian flash mop videos) and I found this video that really touched my heart.
Here are some thoughts coming from the site:
"O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. This is the refrain to a Christmas hymn with which most of us are familiar. The words expressed in this hymn should be taken to heart every day of our lives, not only during the Christmas Season.
Christ Jesus, our Eucharistic Lord, is really and truly present in every Catholic Tabernacle of the world, and from the Eucharistic Altar comes to us as Real Food and Real Drink, just as He promised in John 6. He wishes to inhabit us, feed us, free us, transform us, and give us a real share in His divine life!
Quoting the 5th century theologian St. Augustine to explain the effect the Eucharist has on a person, he added: “I am the food of the strong; grow and you shall feed on me. But you will not convert me into yourself like bodily food, but you shall be changed into me.”
This Eucharistic Jesus is the same God who reveals Himself to us in every book of the Bible! We ought to do just as the Franciscan Friar says repeatedly in the video below: Come and kneel before Him now! We can and must adore Jesus Christ, our Eucharistic Lord. We can and must kneel before Him often and surrender our lives to the God who was, and is, and is to come."

In 3 John, He is your Motivation.
In Jude, He is the Foundation of your Faith.
In Revelation, Jesus is your Coming King. He is:
The First and the Last.
The Beginning and the End.
He is the Keeper of Creation and the Creator of All.
He is the Architect of the Universe and the Manager of All Time.
He Always Was, He Always Is, and He Always Will Be Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and Never Undone.
He was bruised and brought healing.
He was pierced and eased pain.
He was persecuted and brought freedom.
He was dead and brought life.
He is risen and brings power.
He reigns and brings peace.
The world can’t understand Him.
The armies can’t defeat Him.
Schools can’t explain Him and the leaders can’t ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him.
The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him.
The people couldn’t hold him. [This is where the clapping begins]
Nero couldn’t crush Him.
Hitler couldn’t silence Him.
The New Age can’t replace Him.
And Oprah can’t explain Him away.
He is Life, Love, Longevity, and Lord.
He is Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, Mighty, Powerful, and Pure.
His Ways our Right, His Words Eternal, His Rules Unchanging, and His Mind is on me.
He is My Redeemer, He is My Savior, He is My God, He is My Priest, He is My Joy, He is My Comfort, He is My Lord, and He rules my life.”
This is a great Meditation especially when spending time before Our Eucharistic Lord!
