The Catholic Defender: Europe is lost, will the Western World cave to Islam

Isaiah 42:11 states, "Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains."

Consider that Kedar is a place of the "dark skinned" people, the sons of Ismael being mentioned second in the line of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13, 1 Chronicles 1:29). Kedar were those Arabs who settled on the northwest Peninsula within Palestine. Ezekiel 27:21 states that Arabia, being a part of Kedar, was an economic power with it's importance in trade, "Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favored dealers in lambs, rams, and goats; in these they trafficked with you." Isaiah 21:13-17 refers to the "glory of Kadar" as something of the past, but because of Christ, they will celebrate.

The Kedar were known to be mighty warriors, expert archers, and built up and settled in their villages. Isaiah called for these to sing praise to the Lord from the mountain tops.

The people of Sela were those who dwelt in modern day Buseirah (Edomite capital of Bozrah) who lived in the rugged highlands of southern Jordan. They were highlanders who lived around the deep ravines, you can see the rock formations that served as a fortress, a castle on a high rocky formation.

2 Kings 14:7 states that king Amaziah "killed ten thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt and took Sela by storm, and called it Jokthe-el, which is its name to this day." They were defeated in this major battle. 2 Chronicles 25:12 also states, "The men of Judah captured another ten thousand alive, and took them to the top of a rock and threw them down from the top of the rock; and they were all dashed to pieces."

Kedar and Sela both were mentioned by Isaiah to praise the Lord from the mountain tops. These were to represent those who suffered much, those who were down trodden. Hope was coming and hope did come.

John 12:13 exclaims, "So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!" Revelation 19:6 states, "Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunder peals, crying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns."

With all this joy, with all that Christ has won for our salvation, the children of God are now being told to pray in "silence" as to not offend Muslim invaders? Will this "political correctness" come to America?

“Christians Told To ‘Pray In Silence… Don’t Disturb The Migrants’”, by Virginia Hale, Breitbart, June 6, 2016:

Some of the faithful hoping to practice their Christianity at the church of St. Anthony in Ventimiglia were surprised when they were told by Caritas volunteers they couldn’t recite the rosary and would instead have to pray in silence out of respect to migrants who are living there.

Caritas is ostensibly a Catholic charity, although much of its resources are spent on facilitating mass migration to Europe; the organisation even boasts that it contributes to and seeks to influence European Union (EU) “asylum” policies. Caritas reports that they have been distributing 600 meals a day to migrants in Ventimiglia.

After one of the female parishioners requested that the migrants be taken to another church so that she could recite the rosary, the parish priest, Don Rito, appeared and accompanied her and the other visitors to another church.

The Northern Italian town of 55,000 people has recently been overwhelmed with hundreds of migrants. More than 50 Africans have been crossing into Ventimiglia every day, hoping that from there they will be able to enter France….

Today there are many voices who already wants to silence the Church because of the political correctness. The Secular Humanists, the Liberal politicians, academia, the Judicial system, now the Islamic world who seems to have all their sympathies.

As we watch the plight of Europe with this Islamic invasion taking place right before our eyes, Sharia law is quietly building within our own gates. Thousands of Muslim "refugees" are coming and are already here. Christians from Syria are not invited by this present Administration to come as real refugees, those who have suffered the most at the hands of Islamic terrorism?

America is the last bastion of freedom and if America falls, where can liberty be found anywhere in the world? The Catholic Church is called to openly praise God, to shout the gospel even from the housetops.

Jesus told us, "What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim upon the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

The last words of King David to his son, Solomon is the key, "I am about to go the way of all the earth. Be strong, and show yourself a man, and keep the charge of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies..." It is important for men to be real men who follow and serve Jesus first and everything else will fall in place. America needs to bring back the Patriots to stand up for true liberty and freedom.

God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation's leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will. Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Patroness of our land, grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death." Lead us into a new millennium of life. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
