The Catholic Defender: Obama and the Democrats appeal for the caravans

President Trump has from the beginning been promoting "America First" and now "Promises made, Promises kept"! I loved Coach Bobby Knight's exhortation, "Go Get'em Donald" leading the large crowd's chant!

By contrast, tonight, former President Obama called defending our Southern Border by President Trump and our Military a "Political Stunt"? He also referred to the massive incoming caravans as "Poor Refugees" who he described as being a thousand miles south of the border."

Obama said, "You have to believe in facts, without facts there is no basis for cooperation." I agree with this, the problem is that Mr. Obama refers consistently that the caravans traveling through Mexico are like poor, malnourished refugees? The evidence points otherwise. Obama also wanted to claim responsibility for the great news about the economy that has been coming out.

President Trump has radically transformed the economy that almost 4,500,000 jobs have been created, the unemployment at 3.7% the best in 47 years, minorities working at the highest levels ever, women working higher now than for the last 65 years. Obama is trying to claim responsibility, yet he can't even come close. It is Trump's tax cuts and deregulation that has been a major factor.

Obama is the only president that never achieved 3% GDP, the jobs that were created were 24 - 32 hour part time jobs because business could not higher 40 hour work weeks because they could not afford Obamacare. Not only this, but Obama placed more debt on America than all previous presidents combined. People are wanting to come to America because President Trump has done exceptionally well with the economy.

Obama said, "If I say this is a podium and you say this is an elephant, it is going to be hard for us to cooperate." Again, I can agree with his assertion, but I have to see that Mr. Obama's basis is agenda driven and not truth driven. He is using rhetoric that will hopefully for him push his agenda. Obama wants you to feel for the immigrants coming to our Southern Border.

Democrat Candidate Robert "Beto" O'Rourke running against Senator Ted Cruz in Texas seems to have been exposed supporting this invasion of illegal immigrants heading for the border:

“Video footage captures staffers from the campaign plotting to illegally spend the money, hide the expenditures and even pay for methods of transportation to help these illegal aliens,” Townhall reported. “Featured … are campaign staffers who work on Congressman O’Rourke’s U.S. Senate campaign, discussing how they use campaign resources to help Honduran aliens and transport them to airports and bus stations.”

“The material Project Veritas Action Fund captured shows campaign workers covering up the true nature of spending of campaign funds and intentionally misreporting them,” the lawyer stated in a Project Veritas report released Thursday. “This violates the FEC’s rules against personal use and misreporting. It also violates Section 1001 – making a false statement to the federal government. The FEC violations impose civil penalties – including fines of up to $10,000 or 200 percent of the funds involved. Violations of Section 1001 are criminal and include imprisonment of up to five years.”

Notice this picture, these are about 80% men who are far from malnourished or skin and bones. Notice the Migrants carry their own flag. They have burned the American flag on the march.

According to the Daily Wire, “In one alleged exchange, Dominic Chacon and AnaPaula Themann – who both work on O’Rourke’s campaign – discussed how the campaign appears to lie about how it uses its resources to help the migrants.”

According to Breitbart News, “Jody Casey – the campaign manager for the O’Rourke campaign – sent a text message expressing how pleased she was that the campaign was assisting the migrants, according to Chacon.”

Democrats have been exposed as they have been caught on video speaking about their real agendas as opposed to what they are telling the American people their true positions. According to USA Today, “Activists with the right-wing group Project Veritas embedded with campaigns of unknowing Democrats across the country ahead of the midterms – and in most cases, candidates didn't know they were a target until they saw the finished videos, So far, the controversial group led by founder James O'Keefe, has posted undercover videos with liberal campaign workers or candidates in six tight races – and O'Keefe says more are to come in the days leading up to the midterms.”

USA Today also presents “Despite the controversy, the group's videos this cycle could hurt Democrats running in some of the nation's closest watched races – those that could decide which party controls Congress. Those known to have been targeted by the group in this election cycle include: Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Tennessee Senate candidate Phil Bredesen, Arizona Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and House candidate Abigail Spanberger.”

The media largely ignores these caravans of migrants and the Democrats have been striving to stay quiet because they want to sneak past the Midterms hoping they can win without exposing themselves to the general public.

Democrats today are for open borders, Sanctuary cities, the free care and welfare for illegal immigrants. This would potentially be a losing position that can hurt the Democrats. Here pictured above you can see where rocks are being thrown at a helicopter that was hovering nearby. These same immigrants bum-rushed the Mexican border tangling with a number of Mexican police. Others crossed the river by make-shift rafts to by-pass the barrier.

In the beginning, there were women and children that was heading up the caravan being propped up as human shields and also for the occasion for the media to gain sympathy getting Americans to actually support the caravans.

In response to all of this, President Trump has been speaking at Rallies in support of Republicans throughout the Country that he will defend our Southern Border sending as many as 15.000 Troops to catch anyone entering our Country illegally and detain them placing them in tent cities set up to place them until they can be processed and hopefully sent home.

At this the Democrats have been largely silent because they support not only this caravan, but also those already forming behind the current one that has as many as 7,000 to 14,000 immigrants. One more thing to consider, illegal Aliens already costs tax payers well over a $100,000,000 every year for health care, schools, and many other things. There is more crime committed, gangs, drugs, human trafficking, illegal immigration is out of control and President Trump is trying to fix it. The current crisis coming up to our Southern Border is a true invasion.
