The Catholic Defender At Laurie Missouri St. Patrick Catholic Church

This coming Saturday, 2 September 2017, beginning 0900 A.M. It will also go into the afternoon. I will be speaking at St Patrick Catholic Church located in Laurie, Missouri. Lake of the Ozarks. What a great honor it is to be able to share our holy Catholic Faith!

2017 marks the 100th anniversary of Our Lady's appearance at Fatima Portugal first appearing to three young shepherd children covering six months from May to October on the 13th day of the month. There were many other appearances to the children, but the main apparitions took place on the 13th day.

Dr. Gregory Thompson and the Marian Association of Missouri along with Deepertruth, have been giving talks on the first Saturday's of each month beginning with May of this year. The purpose to spiritually walk the journey of the Children and Our Lady of Fatima.

What a great honor it is for me to be invited to speak at one of these Fatima rallies. September marks the 5th month Our lady appeared on the 13th which will be the basis of my talk:

Our Lady: Continue to pray the Rosary to obtain the end of the war. In October, Our Lord will also come, as well as Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and Saint Joseph with the Child Jesus, to bless the world. God is pleased with your sacrifices, but He does not want you to sleep with the ropes; wear them only during the day. (The children were wearing ropes around their waists as a sacrifice for sinners.)

Lucia: They have requested me to ask you for many things, for the cure of some sick persons, of a deaf-mute.

Our Lady: Yes, I will cure some, others not. In October, I will perform a miracle for all to believe.

With that Our Lady left the scene rising back into the heavens and the Children looked on. A

crowd estimated at 20,000 people were not able to see Mother Mary herself, but they were allowed to see and feel the air drastically cool down, the sun dimmed to such a point that people could see stars in the heavens, a rain of petals appeared from nowhere disappearing before touching the ground falling like snowflakes.

What was seen to look like a luminous globe moved slowly through the sky going east to west reminding me of the movie, "The Wizard of Oz" when the beautiful witch appeared with this moving bubble? Wonder where they got the idea? Of Course, Our Lady is no witch, she is the Queen of Heaven and our spiritual Mother.

The Children alone witnessed a bright light and Our Lady hovering over an holm Oak tree. Does this scene have a Biblical foundation? Most certainly! Daniel 10:4-8 provides one great example:

"On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, that is, the Tigris, I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with gold of Uphaz. His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words like the noise of a multitude. And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled to hide themselves. So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me; my radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength."
