THE RETURN OF THE CATHOLIC DEFENDER

The past few weeks I have been out of the net due to a stroke and I want to thank all who have been praying for me to heal. I have a ways to go, but the Lord and His Mother have been showering me with many blessings. I want to thank Dr. Gregory Thompson and John Carpenter for holding the line with the Journey with Mary and Eucharistic Miracles series. I will see the doctor on Monday and hope that I can be cleared to resume fully with Deepertruth both radio and articles. I am stealing a moment to put this out. God bless you all.

During my absence, I am grieved that there was an attack on members here calling Medjugorje Satanic listening to the likes of Patrick Coffin and Donal Foley to name a couple and unfortunately, we lost John Benko who has chosen to go their way in condemning Medjugorje and chose to depart from us. I do thank John for what he has meant to us. May God grant him peace, his new job, and his family.

One of the issues of misinformation being disseminated about Medjugorje is that the Lady was saying all Religions were equal and I do not see that in the reports of her messages. I see where some misunderstanding stem from what has been reported and I will give an example here of that.

Monday, June 29, 1981 The visionaries: Dear Gospa, are you happy to see so many people here today? "More than happy." (She smiles, writes Vicka).

How long will you stay with us? "As long as you will want me to, my angels."

What do you expect of the people who have come in spite of the brambles and the heat? "There is only one God, one faith! Let the people believe firmly and do not fear anything." The one faith is the Catholic Faith!

"Do penance! Strengthen your faith through prayer and the sacraments." Obviously, this would be Catholic

Here is a good example where some have miss understood the reported message? Thursday, October 1, 1981 Are all religions the same? "Members of all faiths are equal before God. God rules over each faith just like a sovereign over his kingdom. In the world, all religions are not the same because all people have not complied with the commandments of God. They reject and disparage them."

This is not saying that all faiths are equal. The real point here is that God loves all of us equally. regardless of any faith backround. The Lady then gives a clarification saying ", all religions are not the same because all people have not complied with the commandments of God. Then the Lady says something very important: "They reject and disparage them." By rejecting the Authority of the Catholic Faith, they deny the Sacraments, the Truth. They deny the Commandments, the importance of the Mass. As Catholics, we should give witness and testify to the Truth of the Catholic Faith so that they would come to believe in the fullness of Truth.

When you review the messages, it is clear that the LADY Appearing at Medjugorje is not saying all religions are equall. The Sacraments are central in her message. Like other main MARIAN SITES LIKE Fatima and Lourdes the Lady calls for the Rosary. That is consistant.

Are all churches the same? "In some, one prays to God more. In others, less. That depends on the priests who motivate others to pray. That also depends on the power which they have."

Catholic Churches all over the world you can see the evidence that despite the Catholic Church is universal, there can be a difference from one parish and another. You can see this in each Diocese. I think that EUCHARISTIC ADORATION makes a huge difference.
