Dear Lord, Your Word is filled with accounts of miraculous protection. We claim that power for vulnerable children. Make Your little ones invisible to people who seek to exploit them. Whisper in the ears of the children to run and hide until the danger passes.


LORD Jesus, You are the highest authority, and there is no spiritual power above You. Therefore, I hide in You, as You are my safe shelter. I'm confident that in submitting to You, no evil will ever be able to conquer me. Therefore, in Your name, I trust You to send Your messengers and protect me wherever I go.


Lord God, I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the One Who fights for me every day.


Heavenly Father, may my child not fear, for you are with them. As I place my children in your mighty, loving hands, give me peace, knowing that you are right by their side. Please replace their fears with the strength and courage to face whatever the day brings.


You called us to receive the children, may we provide support and care necessary for their journey to health. We look to you and your Son, Jesus Christ, as a sign of mercy and joy. We ask this through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes in the name of your Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. AMEN.

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet. O LORD, I say to you, "You are my God." Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy. Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.


No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the one who fights for me every day. Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection.


Dear Heavenly Father, today I pray that you will protect and keep my daughter safe. You know where she will be and what she will be doing. You know the dangers that abound and surround us every day. Please send Your angels to protect her.


Lord, my Shepherd, be the Shepherd of my children; that they may lack for no good thing (Psalm 84:11). Prompt them to lie down in green pastures; lead them beside still waters. Restore their souls and lead them in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake.


Help me to direct and raise my children, not for my own satisfaction, but for the glory of God. Oh Queen of Heaven, my children are so frail in this world. Help me to guide them to know and love Our Heavenly Father. It is through His will that I have these children.


“Father, I pray over the lives of our children and grandchildren and believe that they are protected, directed and will walk out their perfect callings. We all receive greater sensitivity in helping mold them into the image of our LORD Jesus Christ.


The Five Finger Prayer is a simple, visual, and fun way to teach kids what to pray for, as well as a reminder that prayer is simply a conversation with God just like a conversation with a friend. Each finger on a hand represents a person(s) to pray for.


Thumb: Pray for those closest to you: your family and friends. Pointer finger: Pray for those who point you in the right direction: your teachers, and other leaders in your life. Pray for wisdom and support. Middle finger (tallest): Pray for those that lead us: those in government, in business, in church leadership.


Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.


Here's another version of “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” to consider as a bedtime prayer for kids: “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, Watch and guard me through the night, and wake me with the morning light.Amen.”


Father, let my grandchildren “pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another” (Rom.14:19). I pray that my grandchildren may “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Pet. 3:18).


I place my Christian soul before Thee, and in my despair and anguish, beseech Thee to bring the most powerful strength of Thy Helping Hand to come to my rescue. I place the devotion of my sorrowful heart at Thy feet that I may be pardoned from a destiny of suffering.


Dear Lord, we come to you today with a humble heart, asking for your protection and guidance for our daughter. We ask that you surround her with your love and grace, keeping her safe from all harm. We pray that you will protect her from any form of relegation, deception, lies, and failure.


Pope Benedict XVI spoke of his prayer life as he encouraged the children of Benin in their love for Christ.


“The day of my First Holy Communion was one of the most beautiful days of my life. It is the same for you, isn’t it? And why is that?” asked the Pope.

The Pope addressed over 800 children gathered at St. Rita’s parish in Benin’s largest city, Cotonou. His talk followed a visit to a nearby shelter for abandoned, sick and malnourished children run by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity. There the children sang and danced for Pope Benedict.

Dear Jesus, receive me also on this day and hear my morning prayer. Bless my parents, teachers, and all those who love and care for me. Bless me, also, and protect me from danger and evil. Give me strength to be truthful, honest, kind, and helpful to others.

St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did in God’s great love for me, so that I might imitate your “Little Way” each day.
