Through his words, Jesus explains the kingdom and invites people to enter into it. Luke summarizes Jesus' ministry as “proclaiming and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God” (Luke 8:1). The declaration of the kingdom often came through the parables of Jesus that illustrated what it was and how it worked.
Love God and your neighbor
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:37–39). When you replace hate with love, and anger with kindness, you'll feel closer to God and notice more peace in your life.
The kingdom of God refers to God's reign on earth and consequently, in our hearts. It is about His kingship and our obedience to His rule. In His kingdom, the first shall be last, the broken are blessed, we look out for our neighbour and we rejoice when the lost are found.

All of us who responds to Jesus call for Baptism and Confirmation to recieve the gifts of the Holy Spirit through prayer and commitment to Love God above all else.
We are all First String, none of us are bench sitters, second string, all who pray are first string. As we condition our bodies for Athletics, we condition our souls and minds by prayer. Going to Mass and recieve the Sacraments regularly practice our faith praying the Holy Rosary, Bible readings, reading the lives of the Saints.
Proverbs 19:17 tells us that the Lord will repay those who are generous to the poor. Those who give to individuals who lack the basic necessities of life will be blessed by God. Though the poor cannot and may never be able to repay us for our generosity, the Lord can and will.
Ephesians 3:20 says that God's power working in us ...is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.
Christians should be giving thanks always for all things unto God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. This means Christians should be constantly thankful in all circumstances.
