The Catholic Defender: RED DAWN Coming from within? ALL HANDS ON DECK
This upcoming election in November will be the most important in my life time. This literally is a battle for the soul of America. America has been at the balance for several decades even though our nation has been "center right" for the most part, but the Progressive Movement has been building steam from the Obama/Biden years.
What has been happening on our streets with the murder, the violence, destruction of public property, the looting and stealing with a protest against police brutality. The Black Lives Matters and others have been seeking to radically change our country eradicating our history through deprogramming young people in public schools, the Democrat Party, the media calling anyone a "racist" if you oppose what their agenda is. They are wanting President Trump and Conservatives out of power to the extent they will cheat to obtain their goals. Like the classic Socialist line, "the end justifies the means."
What we have seen in Seattle, the NFL, the destruction of statues, the defunding of the police to even eradication the police in Blue States should be a wake up call for all Americans who care about the future of our country. With the undercurrent of Socialism, Communism, Marxism also there is the threat of Sharia Law that would be applied to Americans.
Because of this threat against the United States of America, Deepertruth Member Judy Alciatore wrote the following:
"My Fellow Americans, This coming presidential election is about more than just voting Republican or Democrat...It is about voting for good over evil... The Democrat platform supports abortion, perverted lifestyles, the taking away of many of our freedoms, especially religious freedom...
The Republican platform is pro-life, it supports traditional marriage, and believes that all Americans have the rights granted by God and affirmed in the Constitution... Some people think that religion and politics do not belong in the same sentence...Well, that thinking is wrong...When we vote, we must vote according to God's Laws...If we vote for those who support abortion, then we violate God's Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Kill...
In spite of the twisted meanings given to words today, evil is NOT good, and good is NOT evil...Do not fall for the false compassion trap...If you speak against any kind of evil masquerading as good, it does NOT mean that you are heartless...In fact, just the opposite is true...To defend sin is TRUE heartlessness, for it shows a lack of caring about another person's immortal soul...If we support evil, then we endanger our own souls as well...
So, when we vote in November, please think hard about what your vote will support and condone...

Judy makes a great point in that Christians should be involved in defending what is right in our public schools to prevent indoctrination from cults, to vote for candidates that run on our Christian values.
President Ronald Reagan once said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free"
The Catholic Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "The doctrine of original sin, closely connected with that of redemption by Christ, provides lucid discernment of man's situation and activity in the world. By our first parents' sin, the devil has acquired a certain domination over man, even though man remains free. Original sin entails "captivity under the power of him who thenceforth had the power of death, that is, the devil". Ignorance of the fact that man has a wounded nature inclined to evil gives rise to serious errors in the areas of education, politics, social action and morals."
Judy recognizing the importance of what the Catholic Church teaches states the following quotes from Dinesh D'Souza:
In Dinesh D'Souza's movie, DEATH OF A NATION, a Democrat said, "A Trump presidency is unthinkable and dangerous", then basically said that they would do all they could to overthrow him, whether or not it was ethical or legal... See, ethics, legality, and morality mean nothing to the left... Those things do not matter to them...And all the violence and lawlessness that has ensued since his election is proof of their determination to destroy Trump and the USA...
If you don't believe me, get a copy of the movie and watch it yourself... See the insanity of the Democrat response to Trump's victory... It is NOT President Trump who is making our country a place of hatred and violence... It is the socialistic liberal so-called Democrats who are responsible, for they condone and actually support all of it, while trying to blame it all on him...Are we going to let them win??... Well, if we do, then we can kiss the USA and all she stands for, a very sad good-bye,"
Judy's concern of the threat against the United States coming from within are warranted. From the beginning of President Trump's Presidency there have been manufactured theories that led to expensive investigations coming from top opposing officials in Government to have him impeached. Despite all the progressives attempts to bring President Trump down, he has been able to withstand their attacks.
During the Obama/Biden years Christians were brought into courts all across America for matters that the Progressives demanded all to bend to their agendas. Father Pavone, a Catholic Priest heading "Priests For Life", was himself in and out of courts during the 8 years of Obama/Biden. Since President Trump became President, Religious Freedom has been defended and no Christian has been persecuted because of their faith. In fact, President Trump has been the greatest friend to the Catholic Church in modern American Politics. He has even been referred to as the modern day "Constantine" who once stood for Christian Freedoms with his "Edict of Milan" edict.
Judy then proclaims her profession of faith in why and how she will vote:
I am going out on a limb...taking a chance that I will lose some friends...I hope that doesn't happen, but I know that it probably will...So, here goes: I believe in pro-life, not just for the unborn and new born, but for ALL...I am against capital punishment...as well as abortion and euthanasia...
I am a Roman Catholic for that is the One Church founded by Christ, when He gave the Keys to the Kingdom to St. Peter...
I believe in the Holy Eucharist, because Christ said so...
I believe in the Sacrament of Penance, going to Confession, because Christ said so...
It is my opinion, based on the truth I was taught, that heresies are being preached in our churches...It is NOT OK to divorce and re-marry without an annulment, if your first marriage was held in a Catholic church...
I believe in the 10 Commandments of God, because He said so...
It is NOT OK to allow anyone and everyone into our country without knowing who they are and what they plan to do...
Building the wall IS a good idea, for it provides protection for our citizens...
Pres. Trump is the right man for the job...He cares about you and me...The socialistic liberals do NOT care what happens to you and me...Just look at the violence they support and allow...
You and I have the right to worship God, to express ourselves freely...We have all the rights given to us by God and guaranteed in the Constitution...
You and I have the right to walk outside without fear of being attacked...
We must stand up for the helpless...
We must spread the Gospel according to our traditional Catholic teachings...
The Angel Gabriel greeted Mary with the words, "Hail, Full of Grace"...NOT "favored one"...She is the Mother of God because She is the Mother of Jesus, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity...
I could go on, but you get the picture...
How many will see this post I have no idea...If you do read it and remain my friend, then I am happy beyond words...If not, well, that is your right...Whatever you choose to do, God bless you all.

Religious Freedom will definitely be a major issue that we must consider when we get into that booth and place our valid vote. If the Democrats take along with the House, the Senate and the Presidency, I recall another quote, a warning from President Ronald Reagan:
"You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, "There is a price we will not pay." "There is a point beyond which they must not advance." And this -- this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater's "peace through strength." Winston Churchill said, "The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we're spirits -- not animals." And he said, "There's something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty."
You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.

It is my hope that this article goes far and wide because we are at a serious cross-road in history. Will America allow the "RED DAWN" taking place in public schools, politics, the media, or will we defend by the power of our vote to preserve and defend the Constitution of the United States.
