The Catholic Defender: Judge Roy Moore and the accusations against him
The past couple weeks the Media have increasingly reported on the Alabama race for Senator which Judge Roy Moore is in a heated battle not with the Democratic challenger, but with the media and the Republican Party.
As I watch the news, it seems as if Judge Roy Moore's innocence behind the allegations coming from women who claim 40 years ago he assaulted them sexually. The fact that this whole eruption is taking place makes all this suspect as this has been a tactic from the left for a long time.
Remember Herman Cain, there were twelve women that came out into the open against him with the same kind of allegation. The media made that a feeding frenzy to such an extent, Mr. Cain bowed out of the 2012 Republican Race for President because of the impact this had on his family.
The Democrats attempted this same Tactic against President Trump which might be a reason the President has remained silent thus far on the story. To this point President Trump has stated that if these allegations against Judge Roy Moore were true that he should step aside and bow out of the Alabama Senate Race.
As in the case with Herman Cain, the twelve women who accused President Trump seem to have vanished once the heat of battle was over.
How credible are these women who are making these allegations against Judge Roy Moore? Are they being believed primarily for convenience as neither the Democrats nor the Republicans like Judge Roy Moore?
One of the Lawyers on FOX was critical of Judge Roy Moore for putting God up above the Constitution? Very interesting. The Judge holds the Ten Commandments above the perversion of the Obama Administration who has attacked the very core of Marriage. The Supreme Court is the highest law of the land, but it is not close to God's law.
Which brings me to the concern I have about the allegations? Are they political wanting to thwart the people of Alabama who prefers a nominee that is God fearing, pro-life, and pro-family? Does the fact that the Liberal Washington Post is behind all of these allegations come into play?
Here is a claim, "An Alabama woman claimed the Washington Post tried to pay her to come forward and make accusations of sexual abuse against Roy Moore." A Navy veteran who served 22 years for his country and then served in the Secret Service claims a family friend who lives in Alabama told his wife that a Washington Post reporter “named Beth” approached her and offered her THOUSANDS to accuse Judge Roy Moore of inappropriate sexual advances!
Concerning the allegations, Judge Roy Moore's wife Kayla states, "After the accusations came out against Judge Moore his polling numbers did not change, so do you think they will let up?? We knew something was coming, just did not know what next. This is the same Gloria Allred that did the very exact same thing to Trump during his campaign . Going on two months now they’ve been on a witchhunt here in Etowah County and our state advertising people to step forward with accusations and we are gathering evidence of money being paid to people who would come forward. Which is part of why we are filing suit!"
As of now, there are seven women who have come forward with similar allegations. Rumor has it one of them might have worked for Obama and another was part of Hillary Clinton's campaign. Of course the back and forth denials are forthcoming. The Democrats want an airtight case against Judge Roy Moore so they can slip in a Pro-Abortionist, pro-gay Liberal Doug Jones who would actively oppose President Trump on every issue.
Certainly the timing of these allegations raise suspicion with little over a month before the election and how could anyone defend themselves against such airtight accusations. The people of Alabama will have to consider the past 40 years of Judge Moore's public life to see if the allegations have any merit.
Like President Trump, I will wait and see what happens but with the News Media, even on FOX, it is like they have already convicted the Judge. As a Catholic, it is important to see all the facts and not to rush to judgement. Especially when the alleged events are 40 plus years ago with no apparent issues since?
One last thing I would like brought forward! I would like to see the results of the yearbook to see how old the ink would be and prove it is a forgery! Bring it on!
